Fly Fishing On the Kenai

Summer is around the corner and fishing on the Kenai River has started! June is when trout fishing starts heating up, with our opener on June 11th these fish have had over a month off from angler pressure on the river. These fish are feisty and ready to bite! Whether fishing Leaches on a spey rod, nymphs with an indicator rig or getting down to the bottom with flesh flies these fish are hungry!

During this time we fish out of the Cooper Landing and Sterling areas of the Kenai River. Enjoying the most scenic float out of Cooper Landing gives you the opportunity to take in Alaska’s beauty while getting hooked up on the fly rod. Joining us in Sterling means jumping on our 20ft power boat to rip up the Kenai River to find legendary rainbow trout that are in abundance during June. Either way you decide to fish we will make sure you have the trip of a lifetime!
